What Is Stomach Bug Relief?

This infusion combines IV fluids with two prescription medications: an anti-nausea medication and one that reduces stomach acid.

Because it contains prescription medication, eligibility is confirmed by a provider before treatment. Some GI illness is appropriate for outpatient IV hydration and some needs a higher level of care — we'll assess that at intake.

Should I go to the ER instead?
For severe symptoms — blood in stool, high fever, signs of significant dehydration — go to the ER or urgent care. For milder illness that doesn't need that level of care, outpatient IV hydration may be an option. We'll assess at intake.
Can you come to my home?
Yes. A licensed medical provider comes to your home, hotel, or office anywhere on Long Island or in the NYC metro area for a $100 travel fee.
Are the medications safe?
Ondansetron and famotidine are routinely used medications. A brief intake assessment is completed before each session to confirm they're appropriate for you.
